Fairy Queen

I sculpted her from stone clay (as usual!!),painted her with golden acrylics and sealed with matt varnish. Her dress is made from silk and hand beaded(a right pain!),and she also has a little organza shrug jacket with tiny roses.I used silver plated wire and the organza for her wings and satin stitched the edges on my bernina machine.I put lace at her waist and her nails are painted silver.I would like your opinions please.Thanks.P.S. I took my friend RHISSANNAS advice and dressed her in white as she thought it would suit her best and shes right!you can visit her at www.rhissanna.blogspot.com PS.this doll is SOLD

She's very tender and charming! You made her with love - at least that's what I feel, Patricia - the eyes, the hair-do, the dress with all the details... This colour seems perfect for her. I like the little wings - so, she's an elf, right?:)
What a coincidence! Some minutes ago I sent a link to your post abour Mary Delaney to Maria from www.mariacininha.com in connection with her post about another remarkable woman, who has made a scientific research work, painting flowers - Margareth Mee!...x
